Dear Mr president,
I don't think it is right to add the year of graduation to the ID card, because everyone didn't graduate
from TNIMA. We need to remember that the association is not restricted to only graduates but rather it
includes former students, staff, affiliates of TNIMA and health care.

I think the idea of TNIMA Association members having ID cards or membership cards is a great one.
Who does not wants to be identified? I think everyone does. We all do have an identity and should be
proud of it everywhere we go or live. However, I think we should add a little bit of information to the
already existence sample of TNIMA association membership card or ID posted on the web. For
instance, Lewis B. Weiah/1989 or Lewis B. Weiah/associate, indicating that Mr. Lewis B. Weiah is a
graduate of TNIMA 1989 or Lewis B. Weiah is a member of TNIMA Association.
Thanks

Jallah,
.... it looks really good. I also like

Dear Doc Mutota
I appreciate your comment about the ID card issue
In my opinion, this is not an offense to former students, graduates and associate members of the
association.
The idea of ID will indicate belonginess and patriotism of members to the organization.TNIMAA is a
profession organization that needs committed members who will honestly give back to her what they
received directly or indirectly.Just to let you know that the Liberia Medical and dental Association,
Liberia National Red Cross and the very MFS of wish I was an employee had an ID. I believe this ideal
was not just to get together or merit make. Just to remind you again that many of your staff that were
in MFS Hospitals and its environs were students and graduates of TNIMA.At the end of the crisis MFS
was rated high among the NGO,Therefore, Iam appealing to you unbehalf of New England Chapter to
bring all of your MSF Associates on board to contribute to this organization. In my opinion, our
president and financial secretary are on the right path.

I think the ID is not a bad idea if and only if, there is a tangible reason or purpose for it.
One suggestive reason I think, would be for a fund raising purpose and nothing more.

Mr. President,
Having Id card is a wonderful idea. How will those who did not take photo Id at the convention in
Minnesota get one? Secondly, will the secretaries of the various chapter be responsible for numbering?
Please clearify I might have understood the info in a another sense.
Thanks,
Famata
Dear Mrs. King,
Thanks for the comment.
RESPONSES[FROM JALLAH]:
1. For those who did not provide photos in Minnesota, I would suggest that they mail their pictures or
email it as an attachment to our general email : tnimamembers@tnima.org
2. The secretaries at the various chapters will provide name(s) of new members to the general database
(at this time to Jallah Kennedy as is being done) but we all can work on a mechanism where by the
temporary numbers starting with 99 after the LOCATION/CRITERIA NUMBER. e.g., Famata King is a new
member in the Tri-state will be given 1{USA resident] then 99 for the temporary number and the rest of the
three digits can be assigned or given randomly.

Hello President Jallah
As an independent person to the organisation, I would like to comment on this initiative. Please.
why do members need an ID??? it think this question should debated widly. is it simply a sense of
belonging....??? or does give access to particular benefits????
I am a member of former MSF and a member of former Merlin Liberia. We meet to discuss issues
pertaining the humanitarian work and share our thoughts to the organisations; but we do not think there is
a need to have ID etc. of course it's not the same..
but even former school members can meet, celebrate , form an association and not finding a need to
have ID
Knowing you , I am sure it's not done unpurposely. you have reasons for that.
but would it be costly. is the money worth to spend or instead better off sending it to TNIMA for a big
nursing library as a legacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
regards
Doc Nzenge Mutota
Dear Dr. Mutota,

RESPONSES [FROM JALLAH]
1. Two main ideas are behind the membership card in my pooled opinion; a) patriotism/
“belongingness to TNIMA and its Association and b) Economic
2. As per the economic aspect, funds generated from the card will be used as part of drives to support
the school. The cards as per the convention discussions costs $5.00. The cost of type-setting and
possibly printing may be relatively free because I [Jallah Kennedy] could do it. What may require addition
cost will be the plastic and laminating machine. The machine can be kept and used repeatedly instead of
sending bulk request to the printing shop. I have already design the template. At no charge to the
Association. We hope that it can cost about 1-2 dollars to produce one card and reap 3-4 dollars. We will
reduce cost by requesting return postage from each member.
3. I admire your interest in the library and laboratory as per your previous emails-we are indeed
focused on them

I CONGRATULATE YOU FOR COMING UP WITH THIS BRILLANT IDEA BUT MY ONLY WILL BE, WHY IS
USA CODED AS 1 AND LIBERIA AS 2 ? I BELIEVED IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I STAND
TO BE CORRECTED.
Dear Mr. Nkpaahkpai,
Thanks for the comment
RESPONSE [FROM JALLAH]
1. I think we could very well use your suggestion to switch the code as you suggested
